Great old school diner. Appears to be original decor but maintained really well, and very clean. We were in town for a few days and went once for dinner and once for breakfast. Great food for all 4 of us both times. Well-rounded diner menu with large breakfast selection, lunch options, and classic comfort food. Pie options looked delicious but didn’t get to try.
Excellent ! Delicious food and great customer service . They are very attentive and we enjoy breakfast here . Everything is good . Chicken fried steak is chefs kiss and they have mouthwatering burgers with a house sauce . So good I recommend paying them a visit .
Man I came here with my friends, there were 4 of us. The place wasn't crazy busy we arrived close to closing time. But man this waiter REALLY tended to us!! We hardly had to ask for anything and when we did he was quick!! Even the young man bussing tables helped us when our guy was in the back or tending to other tables. None of this "that ain't my job" nonsense to be found here!! We were speaking very intensely about things happening in our lives and it's not easy to wait on a table like that I'll be honest, it is uncomfortable when they're pouring you more water and you're talking about your frustrations in life but this man was a straight pro!! In and out, no awkwardness, with a smile too!! Didn't need to write down our orders at all, and he knew the specials AND we had one friend who ordered 5 minutes later and he STILL remembered everything. OF COURSE WE TIPPED HIM!! This sort of thing is harder to find nowadays, so if that's important to you, you will love it here great place to sit and talk privately, gotta keep it funded
This was our first time dining here and I can honestly say it was 10/10! Everything was excellent! The lamb chops, the ribeye, the sides and the service was amazing!! We will definitely be back again!!
Ordered the special of the day. It was pork chop dinner. Very affordable, full 4 course meal for $18 sign me up. Everything was pretty great, soup was good, salad was fresh, and the service was impeccable. The pork chop was not the best, though. It was very okay, I've had much better pork chop in much worse places so thats the main reason I only give 4 stars. I'll try them out again if I'm in the area and see if their other food are good too, I expect most of them should be.
A COZY FAMILY RESTAURANT! Spires is a mix of a Denny's, Norms, and Coco's with a slightly more charming design than Cocos. The circular restaurant serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. I recommend the Spires Original Beefeater which comes with thinly sliced roast beef with melted jack cheese on grilled Parmesan cheese bread. It's tasty and the meat is perfect. The bread on the sandwich could be improved, it's not as "Parmesan-y" as it could've been. The fries are thick and accompany the sandwich well. The waitress was super nice, she took down my order wrong and came back to apologize after I was given the wrong meal. I got my correct meal after a little longer of a wait and she kept apologizing for the error. That's good service when staff have accountability! I mentioned I had a Yelp offer of a free coffee but she forgot. Hopefully next time I can get it. Therefore, if you have a free coffee offer, make sure you keep reminding the staff if you want it! The restaurant was clean, mellow and everyone was attentive to the customers. Spires has some lunch specials and great dinners/breakfasts for seniors! The restaurant also has a fridge with desserts inside. Idk if they're made fresh here or not, however everything looked enticing! There's plenty of parking here and it's good for different size groups. It's super close to the Ontario Convention Center and nearby hotels!
